My brother-in-law is fairly short, and has trouble getting to the toe shifter, even with the close up seat. Is anyone aware where he can purchase a shifter lever that is shorter than stock? There's extended ones, but no shorter ones. (2007 Heritage Softail).

Thanks

My brother-in-law had same situation on his 2015 Road King. He also could not find a shorter lever. He cut an inch or two out of his lever and welded the ends back together, painted with chrome like spray paint and it looks like a new one out of the box. Your b-i-l could probably find a local machine shop that would do the same for him.

He could add a heel shifter and that way he can push from above with toe.

Also, you can tray maybe a sportster shift lever. Going shorter is going to change the affect of the lever to do its job
