Software Update 1.22.0.1

I know this update (1.22.0.1) was released December 15, 2017, but I just now had a chance to update my Ultra Limited after being in "Winter Hibernation" for a couple months. In any case, I did not have any issues with the Boom! Box Infotainment update or the Dealer Maps update. I did the Boom! Box update first, followed by the Dealer Maps. I kept notes from the last time I did the update so I didn't have any problems this time.

Sorry if this is old news . . . I was excited to uncover my bike and just spend some time with her!

I tried twice yesterday, downloaded the file, unzipped it, loaded it to a freshly formatted flashdrive, put bike on ACC. waited till the GPS came up, hooked up the flashdrive, and it went to the Authenticating screen and just a circle of dots for quite a while, never got any further.
Thanks for posting the list of fixes. I'm typically leery of the updates, but this one sounds worthwhile.

Just completed the updates. No problems. I cleared the Boom Box update from the flash drive before I updated the dealer map.
Has anything changed in the update method?

I've updated before without issue... now it doesn't recognize any file on the USB drive, thou the drive lights up showing it's connected. The file is there, and extracted just like before... tried about 10 times since release, finally gave up. ;)
I started by clearing my USB Flash Drive by deleting any old software updates (I have a flash drive dedicated to Harley-Davidson updates). After downloading the software update to my computer (I am a PC user), I opened the Zip Folder and copied the Disk Image File to my flash drive. Turned the ignition switch to "Accessory", waited for the Boom! Box to turn on so I could hit "Accept" (like I do anytime I start my bike up, then plugged the flash drive in and the software downloaded without any issues. There were 10 updates so it took about 15 minutes for everything to download.

For the Dealer Maps, I opened the Zip Folder and copied the Disk Image File and the nng Folder (again after deleting the software from the flash drive for the Boom! Box update) to my flash drive, Turned the ignition switch to "Accessory", waited for the "Accept" prompt, then plugged the flash drive in just like above and let it do its thing. The Dealer Map download took a couple minutes and I was done.

P.S. Found out the embarrassing way that the battery in my Key Fob was dead . . . I moved my bike off of the wheel chock I had it stored in and the alarm chirped twice and then sounded for the neighbors to hear. Replaced both Key Fob batteries this morning so I am good to go. Only other problem . . . It's SNOWING AGAIN. Looks like I'll have to go back to watching YouTube videos of others enjoying their Harley-Davidsons while mine sits in the garage.

I have never updated any of mine. Too many folks have problems once they update. I recently updated my phone and I hate it now. Cannot go back to before the update on the phone, not sure about bikes. I'll just stick with mine, it works fine as is.
I have now tried to update to latest version "1.22.0.1" for my RG CVO. I have tried 5 times with a fresh 16GB flash drive. I receive the message "The USB image is incompatible or corrupt"... What to do?

Watch the video on the Harley update page. You have to download the update. Extract it then copy it to your usb.
