What's a great solo seat for 14 SG with comfort and looks? These are the ones I was looking at:

1. Danny Gray buttcrack/ speed cradle
2. Saddleman S3 Solo Renegade
3. Mustang Super Solo

All 3 should be quality seats.
IMO. When in doubt go with the widest one.
Good padding is essential but the width really counts too. Of course that varies depending on your width at the point of contact.
Here's one I took from my 13 SG when I sold it. Harley Davidson Mahogany Brown with diamond stitch. Like new, flawless! Most comfortable solo I ever had. Pics attached. Looks great on red, black, or orange bikes. Pillion is also available from HD.

$275 shipped.

I am 5'11 215 and to be honest have zero issues with the stock seat. It is completely fine I just want a solo. I had a danny gray buttcrack seat on my fury, it was not that good. Anyone have good pictures and thoughts? The Mustang is $300 the others are around $200.
Going for some naked rear fender? Careful. There are some bare fender humpers around here. Everybody has there own little quirks I guess.

Seem`s like you already ruled out Danny Gray.
FWIW. I`m going with the Mustang Vintage solo on T~S for distance.
T~S is a Softail. But solo`s look great on any bike. And comfort counts when doing a longer haul.
Not quit the look I want. But the old "function vs form" trumps my LePera Barebones when I want to do distance in a day or consecutive days.
I want to keep my stock seat if I ever need it. Like the solo look, but want something I can ride without crying at the end of a ride.
I haven't had a mustang seat on a harley, but on my honda shadow it was awesome; extremely comfortable and worth the money.
I bought the Harley Signature series solo with integrated removable backrest. Pricey as eff but I can ride this thing forever without fatigue. I put about 12K miles on it this year.
