I ran by Stroker's Dallas Sunday for an hour or so. They were having a British Classic Bike show. Snapped a few pics (only one British)

An old Norton.

A Knuck

A Confederate (do they need to change their name now?) 127ci motor! The machining on these things is absolutely stunning work. Love the billet primary on the other side.

An odd "Vincent" clone made out of an Ironhead. I thought it was pretty cool. It was whisper quiet with that 2:1. Owner/Buidler was a nice guy. Said a lot of guys hate it.

Back in the early seventies most of us muscle car guys saw the writing on the wall especially when Honda came out with the CB750 in 1969 . Cheaper & faster than cars so I bought my first bike , 1973 CB750 Honda . This guy that rode in our bunch had a almost new black & gold Norton Commando twin . Stunningly beautiful cycle and sounded as good as any Harley . But was no match for the four cylinder bikes coming of age !
Still though I have always admired & remembered that goodlookin twin from England .
