Out of interest where did you gt your part numbers from

My dealer page shows completely different P/N's. It does not list actual 1200XLC, it just lists Sportster and year. Usually the page it brings up then lists all the different models on the list
No spec regarding length though

numbers seem to be
54566-97
54568-92 or 54471-82
54552-96A - 54552-96
54542-96A - 54542-96

Neil, those are Harley Numbers, correct?
Sorry (again for the confusion, I seem to cause a lot of it these days)
LOL:frown
Mine are Progressive numbers.
I found A PDF from Progressive,
Going to try to upload it.
Page 39, line 16 and 17,
Also a picture with the 1992 to 2003 highlighted.

Has any one tried the Road Glide or Street Glide air shocks on your Sportster I've been doing some research some guys seem to think they ride really nice. What do I do can I get valves to just put in each shock?
Part number for the 12in shock is
54662-09.

Well ended up with a set of 13" locally, don't have the spacers yet to install, but seem consideribly longer than my stock 11 3/4" -12" shock absorbers. I'm fearful that he's going to be too tall for me really don't want to go with lowering blocks either although some have reported success.
