Hey guys thanks for posting so much content it helped me alot just reading everyones posts!
Now im stuck with this problem so might take my bike to the shop if I dont solve it in a few days..

Bike crank but doesnt start
Battery shows 12.4 on the multimeter
If the bike is Jumpstarted from my norco booster it will run fine.
Key fob battery is new
Red key sensor is blinking when the bike is turnedoff and will stay solid when i restart it.
Also the hazards blinks once then my rear right flasher blinks twice after the bike is turnedoff.
Ordered a 4pin adapter for OBD2 but they sent a 6pin.. huh

Any sort of help is appreciated
Thanks!

It won't start with the battery, but will when the battery is on a charger. I'd say you have a bad battery. Charge it fully (12.8V) and have it load tested.

My research on using an OBD2 to scan Harley codes indicate it can only be used on the Harley models that have the CAN protocol. Anybody found any other info on earlier Harley models ?

I forgot tp post to the OP's Sportster problem. 12.4 volts is low, need to charge the battery to 12.8 volts to be fully charged.
