Hallo. I have '87 Sportster converted to 1220. I want to mount new electronic ignition (instead of mechanical one). I have an opportunity to buy Compu-fire 21860 SUPER SPORT RACE for good price. I don't need great power and I'm afraid that with this ignition fuel consumption will be much higher. Do you have any experiences with this ignition?

Basically the ignition system, as long as it's working correctly, will have no real influence on the fuel mileage. Of course, if you run the bike harder, with or without a new ignition, you'll get less mileage. Set up properly, if anything you should get better mileage.
