Hallo again.
I have Sporty 1987 year.
Today Im looking for help with camcover bushing and and case bearings.
I have to change them - they are scratched.

2 questions:

- How can I remove old bearings and bushings from covers - without destroying this parts?

- I have 91-2003 bushing kit ( all bushings - without bearings) - can I use it?
Can I change bearings in engine case for bushings? Dimensions are suitable.

Don't re-engineer the engine.

Use bearings where the MoCo used bearings.
Use bushings where the MoCo used bushings.

There's a reason the Moco used what they did.

The rear intake cam bushing for '91 and up is not interchangeable with '58 - '90 rear intake cam bushing. The other 3 cam bushings are interchangeable.

Special tools required, just saying.
First and foremost the H-D service manual.
