Aloha, I been looking for a 4+ - 6+ springer front end for my Sporty. I can't seem to find on that will work on my year. I can find a ton of them for other years. or at least info on what id need to do to "make it fit" . The steer lock seems to be the issue? I'd cut that out if thats whats needed . but need to find some info. any help would be appreciated .

With that kind of rise I sure hope you are planning on increasing the rake.
Really going to throw off the geometry of the bike.
Huge additional load on the rear shocks.

Anything can be made to fit anything. May just be a case of changing beck bearings.

If that fails a torch and a BMFH usually will work.

The OP may not.
And. DISCLAIMER;I am not personally condoning nor recommending the torch and/or BMFH method.

It is to be used only by the highly trained and skilled craftsmen of the world.
Oh yea.... and by some of the fly by night "custom" bike builders as seen on TV. :nah
