My 2000 Softail runs a 1-1/8" Belt, I want to install my friend's 65T Sprocket for the Sturgis trip but it was from a m/c using a 1-1/2 " wide belt... Anyone use a slightly wider sprocket (My belt is new).
Also, I already swapped out my 32T front Sprocket for a 34T...
Looking for less Hi-Way RPM.
(My engine has 90 H/power).

Each tooth is worth apx 300 rpms at 70mph , so you have already lowered your rpm considerably at highway speeds .

Does the bike have the extra 3/8ths inch clearance at the swingarm to fit the inch and a half sprocket ?
