After battery change starter motor constantly turns motor until I pull the fuse, I’ve checked the input wire to solonoid and it is always live, the problem stopped when the wire was off so solonoid is not stuck, please help it’s me birds bike and I’m in the shit, think prob is with bdm any one know how to reset too factory settings

Unless things have changed. There is a "required procedure" outlined in the HD Manual for changing a Sportster battery.
Will ass-u-me you followed it.

In fairness, would not following it cause the described problem?
I have no clue.

Brought to my attention, the 2016 is a canbus system so no relay.
