You need to make some basic electrical test. Test that the battery cables are tight, both ends. Check that the cable ends are good and secure to the cables. Check that the solenoid is picking up. That's a few places to start.
Starter won't spin
I have an 89 sportster 883 and can't get starter to work I bought a new battery and a new relay I have power going into the relay and power coming out but I can't find were the wire from the relay connects runs and connects to th battery any help would be great thanks in advance

Figured it out forgot to hook relay wire up to starter must have been in a hurry to ride!

Push start it and worry about it later.
