Check with Jireh Cycles.com - They have several chrome heavy duty starters to fit Harleys at a reasonable price .

You started a thread in August about a starting problem.

A lot of people responded with suggestions, but you did not have the courtesy to post any follow up.

If you want help, ask for it, then participate in the discussion.

He asked about tossing a kicker on a bike too. Got plenty of responses.
Never bothered to reply.

Looking through his other threads, seem`s to be a habit.

I'm interested too ....let me apologize in advance for my past transgressions
Your punishment is ten lashes with a wet noodle. :spank:

Have you looked into having your starter rebuild ?
Local shop in your area can do the rebuilding for a small price . ( I've seen it be between 50-75 bucks)
Look in the Yellow Pages under "Alternator and Starter Repair" .

The starter is a Nippondenso and not unlike Toyota starters. Any good starter/alternator shop can rebuild.
Most times bearings and contacts, maybe brushes, are all that is needed.
