So my 2010 Ultra has developed an oil leak from the stator plug at the left case.

I'm trying to unplug it to silicone it, but after being there for 10 yrs, it's stuck pretty good. Or not made to come out.

My stupid question of the day: The thing does unplug there, doesn't it? My Evo does so I didn't figure the TC would be any different. I want to know for sure before I tear something up.

The f^*king service manual doesn't mention the stator and the electrical diagnostics manual shows the wires going straight from the stator to the plug on the regulator. This makes it look like there's no plug on the case.

That is a rubber grommet that the wires run through. You'll need to pull the primary case. the grommet is flanged on both sides. You can get a couple of grease injection needles and see if you can push some rubber cement through them.

The wire insulation on mine was brittle along with grommet seeping. I opted to replace stator with all new.
