I always enjoy watching adjustment procedure vids because I can usually find some faults with the information, or lack of thereof.
This fall away vid starts off on the wrong foot if the procedure is being done 'by the book'. The bike being serviced for fall away should be jacked up level, not just the front tire off the floor as in the vid. So ultimately these front fork neck bearings could be somewhat misadjusted !
Also different model Harleys have different fork neck trail angles requiring different methods of fall away checks and adjustments, check the manual for the model being serviced. The bike in the vid is one of the easier models for the fall away check and adjust. An Ultra for instance is considerably more involved and difficult, not to mention more time consuming.
One last thing to remember is to retighten the pinch bolts, I always hang a sticky note on the tank as a reminder.
Thanks Kainam.
