I wish I could post pics. I went and visted his grave site about a month ago at Laural land in So. Dallas..it was pretty cool and my wifes dad is buried just across the drive from him not even a 100 feet..and just a little father over is Officer J.D. Tippets grave. he was the Dallas cop that Lee Harvey Oswald killed in Dallas the day JFK was shot...pretty interesting grave yard...

Also this weekend or next is the BIG SRV ride that goes from downtown Dallas out to Cowboys in Arlinton Tx.. rode this one a couple this before..it's a big one...

I didn't even know that Stevie had died until I got back out of the desert until a friend that knew I liked his music told me.

I didn't know much about Ann Richards, but she came through the tube to me as what I consider true Texas. I like Texas.
