Anyone know if you can lube the throttle on TBW models?
Mine is a little sticky, not entirely smooth and I can't find anything in the HD repair manual.

Have you recently had the grip off or installed new ones? When I put on my Iso grips I noticed that I could push the switch housing up on the bars too far (towards the center of the bars) and that would cause the throttle to stick. Moving the housing and throttle outward on the bars just a bit and the throttle snaps like it should.

I think HD may have a little dab of some lithium grease on the throttle mechanism.

Have not had the grips off, and I have heated factory grips.
Throttle will snap back its just a little sticky when moving grip slowly back and forth which can cause jerky engine operation.

I wouldn't think that a dab of lithium or silicone grease would hurt. Some on the mechanism and some between the grip and the bar.
