I had to make this decision last year between the plain tripper and tuck & roll. I went plain and I like it, but STILL wonder if I made the right choice.
JMO, With all of the black present, the smooth lets my eyes go over the bike from front to back. The stitched stops my eyes for a moment. I like the smooth.
Go for both. Tell her you want the plain one so when she rides with you they look at her and see what a beautiful women you have not the seat. The stitched one so the women will look at the seat not you when she isn't with you. Seats are easy to swap out. It never hurts to embellish the truth a litte bit. Then I'd probably go with the smooth when that didn't work.
True.... If the wife gives you a funny look and raises an eyebrow when you say you're gonna buy 2 seats for the bike, just ask her how many shoes she needs? :nod
