I can see your p-o-v, and I'm mostly there. Would never do it to my bike. When I see it with someone else's I'll sometimes sneak a grin. Then once in awhile, maybe when the stars are aligned and the whales are migrating on time, I'll see a burnout vid and think "That was pretty cool". This one also gives cred to the power of the Revolution engine.

I've only done mini burnouts...usually no longer than 5-10 seconds, while the smoke it a'comin. HOWEVER, I can pretty much guarantee something...there is a little bit of therapy behind a burnout. I'm serious!!!!!! There is something alittle therapeutic when I have the throttle going, the brake held in hard, and the tire spinning and burning ;) I can't really explain it...but I always feel better after doing a mini burnout!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Coonass, however....can give advice on the reasoning behind burnouts in his underwear.

The Mad Scientist in me thinks I could rig a souce of ignition for the rubber smoke coming off the rear tire.

That would be worth seeing.
