Sturgis and room rentals
some discussions of the sturgis trip on here and my brother and i are considering our first trip there.
in looking for rentals, he came across this:
Rental scam arises well before 75th Sturgis motorcycle rally
anyone have this kind of problem? any sure ways to insure your rental via online is legit?

There are scumbags everywhere waiting to take advantage of an honest person . :mad
sure thing, webco. if the opportunity is there, so are the ripoff artists.
Not sure if it's true or not, but I've heard that if you send money to me your rental is more likely to be possibly guaranteed. But again, I'm not sure if it's true or not.!
On a more serious note. I too plan to attend but luckily I have friends who do not want to ride so they will tow my toyhauler with their bikes in it while i ride! Just need an RV park close.
