Are saddle bag supports required for all bags, or just the soft ones? I do have a set of supports, but i think i may be missing hardware. My bike is a 2004 super glide, and im looking for something easy to install, doesn't need to be too big. I want something to carry my lunch to work, maybe a jacket, gloves etc. Not interested in relocating my directionals.

If that's all the space you need and you don't want to deal with relocating anything or bracketry, have you looked into just a simple swingarm bag?

Something like this, would that be enough storage for you?
