I've heard the same things! I just can't get enough!
"Are you crazy? Sell it before you get hurt!"

Since I bought it, I'm saner than I've ever been in my life. (And I smile more than ever)

"You're not really riding that thing all the way to Arkansas, are you?"

Damn right I am.

P.S. And next year too!
My Dad saying I was eff`n nuts when I stopped by on a Saturday to tell him I had just been sky diving.

My Dad saying I was eff`n nuts when I stopped by on a Saturday with my first Harley.

Finding out later from my Mom that he was bragging each of the following Sundays, to anyone at Church that would listen, about what his crazy son had just done. :D

Miss you Dad.
Great thread! My wife doesn't even question me anymore.

Me: "I'm riding to Uncle Brian's in the mid 30's and rain."

Her: (Not even looking up from her book) "Have fun."

I could tell her I was riding to Mars and she wouldn't try and talk me out of it.
Its 22 degrees and riding into work before the sun comes up... All the crazy looks you get...
My Dad when I was 18 telling me if I buy a motorcycle he will kick me out of the house and me telling him I'll be back for my stuff.
Me six months later with my Dad on the back of my bike, smiling from ear to ear.
Things That Make You Smile

The sound of my bike everytime I fire it up.
Remembering back when I was 16 and my dad helping me buy and pay for my first bike. Even talked the guy down on the selling price and kept my mom from kicking us both out over buying it.
I was about twelve and the TV quit, Dad asked if I wanted a new TV or a new motorcycle, the next week I had a new YZ80, I didn't need no Stinkin TV...

Makes me smile to think about because, my Mom hates motorcycles but, loves us anyhow. Even gave up a new RCA so I could have a bike.
Right now I have to say that when my grand son asks his grandma if grandpa can come out and play on the dirt bikes. Then he promises that he won't let his papa (me) get hurt. Then we go out and ride some trails. He is 11.
"You're riding that thing to Ohio to meet a bunch of BIKERS that you met on the internet? You're CRAZY!"

Five months later she went to Fostoria with me to the Wives Collision. Loved it.

Then Eureka Springs (at least part of the way on the bike!) Loved that.

She's looking forward to Fostoria in January and another trip to ES with many, many more miles.
Stopped at a red light the other day and a guy pulls up in the lane beside me and points to my "get-back-whip" and says:
"I think you lost your dog!!"

2007 ElectraGlide
65,000 miles and counting!

Ever think she was just glad you were leaving?

Too bad I talked Jen into going with me a few times. Now she always wants to go.

Is that why I like to drink so much? Hmmmmmm. :laugh
Guy in parking lot: "Nice bike, how much did it cost, about 30K?" Me: "Close, but not quite that much"... I ride a $13,000 2014 Sportster, but why does anyone have to know how much I paid.
