Does anyone out there know if there is a special tool or guide for cutting in the notches in older handle bars to accept throttle grip sensors? Or am I on my own with files in hand? Thanks, Saddletramp

IMO, the older bars I.D. is smaller than the sensor bars. Measure your bar I.D. and the O.D. of the sensor.

Thanks Schmidtys, it's not a question of the TGS fitting inside the bars; it does. It's a question of cutting or filing the notches in the end of the bar that hold the TGS in place. To repeatedly complete the process it would be nice to have a special tool or guide. I'll probably end up just using a file or manufacturing my own tool. Thanks for your input, Saddletramp

You know if you just match the notch to the one that's in the OEM bars I think you'll be good. The position of the notch isn't critical, it just keeps the TGS body from moving when you roll the throttle grip.

4" grinder will cut the notch you want.
