I'm still waiting for my share ! Kinda wondering what the holdup is ?
Well, we ain't got no checks in the mail yet. And they don't have our bank account info cause we always owe on taxes--if not income tax due when filing returns we still end up writing a check to pay our quarterly estimated taxes so we don't have any direct deposits on file for regular tax business. But...., from what I have read, they will pick up on the fact that both my wife and I get Social Security retirement checks and those are direct deposited into our bank account. So, maybe when we get our next monthly bank statement our stimulus checks will show as deposits into the checking account. Or, maybe the following month ??? I also read that for folks they will have to issue a paper check to cause they don't have any direct deposit info on file for them will be the last ones to get their money. We Got Ours And I'm seeing a Couple of beef Briskets In My Future and Some other freezer Items. There Talking a 2nd Stimulus Check in the near Future I'm Not Believing it but I will Take if their Giving It .
We’re in a similar boat. I paid the last (2) years after starting my own business. If you go to IRS.gov, you can find the spot under the Covid heading, and if you’re inclined to do so, you can enter your bank info. I put mine in last Wed, and it noted we would get it, but nothing deposited yet. I did, however, get a bill from them on Monday(due 4/20) for missing a quarterly payment . My eldest son got his stimulus deposit on Wed.Well, we ain't got no checks in the mail yet. It's probably healthier to not touch money any more than you have to. Really filthy stuff not even considering coronavirus possibilities. Seems sometimes I might go several days or more without touching money. The damn credit cards are just so handy to use. Use a cc for gas and you don't need to go inside and wait in line. Use a cc at the grocery self check out and you get out quicker. Use a cc for online purchases and they may ship your stuff immediately--no waiting for a check to get there and then clear the merchant's account before he turns loose of your order. And with a lot of cc usage we don't accumulate a lot of change like we used to. So, the pension and Social Security checks are direct deposited into the bank account. Then using a cc for most purchases uses up most of what went in the bank. And I actually saw or handled damn little of it.
