The bore is the same on an 88" and 96". The 96" just has a 3/8" longer stroke.I think I was told you can use the heads and jugs...( if you bore the jugs) but nothing else

Is there even a unique id number on the sleeves? I'm not even sure there'd be a way to know if they were original or not.I am planning for doing the top end on my Dyna TC 88. Obviously I can save down time by finding a pair of donor jugs and getting them bored before hand. Is there any reason to not do that? I can't see "original" jugs adding anything to value once you start boring. Am I wrong?
