Hello all, relatively new to the group. I’m planning a trip from central PA up to NY, across lake Champlain into Vermont. Round trip I’m looking 4-5 days. I’m trying to get as much rough planning done as possible this winter (mostly to occupy my mind).

I was originally thinking of Going to Americade in Lake George, use it as a home base and return to the same hotel every night. Then thought of just going to Americade for 1 day then moving on. Now I’m debating skipping the rally all together.

So far I’m planning on heading north to either lake george, fort Ticonderoga, or lake placid. Next day either ride to middlebury to Burlington. Or ride north and ferry to Burlington. Then from Burlington up to Alburgh.

Other than that the “north east kingdom” is on the list. I’m looking for any suggestions to see what else I should see or routes to consider. Nothing is set in stone. I’ve read about skyline drive. Also looking for suggestions on cheap places to camp/cabins.

Thanks in advance
