TSSM problem

I have a 2001 DWG2. The TSSM is 68922-00 which appears to be bad. I am getting no Gnd to the Start Relay from Pin 9 of the TSSM. I only have 1 FOB and do not recall ever setting a Personal Code. It sure isn't written down in the back of my Owners Manual.
The turn signals do not work at all. Headlights, horn and odometer work and no DTC codes.
It appears that I have a Blown TSSM and I need a new one, which I think is no longer available.
Is the Personal Code stored in the TSSM (68922-00)? or the Ignition Module?
If I buy a used TSSM on EBay and it has an unknown Personal Code I may not be able to use it.
The ignition switch, Run-Stop and Start switch are working, along with
I live in Sugarloaf Key FL, and the nearest dealer is in Miami.
The Manual says that if you don't enter a Personal Code or it is not assigned and the Bike is armed the Security System Module (TSSM?) must be replaced.
I would like to just do away with the Security System all together but do not know how.

Any Help would be appreciated!

Can't use a used TSSM, they get "married" to a VIN. Sounds like the alarm is not currently armed, so you should be able to replace the faulty TSSM with a new TSSM or TSM.

Double check the fuse for the security system.

It is strange though that you are not getting any fault codes? :confused
If the TSSM was bad, you should get some sort of fault code.
Your owners manual has the step by step instructions to view the current pin code. It also has instructions for changing pin code. All you need is your working fob to be near the bike. Now, there might be a problem because your turn signals don't work, as the signals flash to let you know you are stepping through the procedure correctly.
You can replace the TSSM with a TSM (no security). They are available from dealer and Ebay. Then there is a very detailed procedure for the ECM to unlearn it's code.
He doesn't have a proximity fob, he has the push button kind (2001).
Battery (FOB) ?
Check all the fuses with a tester, not the eyeball.

Is your security light icon lit up on your speedometer ? If you wiggle or move the bike your signals should start flashing.

Your bank angle sensor could be stuck or bad, check it and make sure.

Go to the TSM/TSSM Key Fob and Code Assignment section in your manual and go thru it step by step. As SCHMIDTYS mentioned make sure your FOB battery is good 1st.

Hopefully this gets you going , at least it won't cost you anything to check it out.

Ok, who's turn was it to put out the cookies? :what?
I bought a used TSSM on ebay for my 2001. The part number was exactly the same and I didn't do anything but plug it in and the bike started right up and has run fine ever since. I do not have a fob for it and don't know if it ever had one, but I didn't have to "marry" it to the bike. I don't think a 2001 has an ECM does it?

Carbureted bikes didn't have ECM's.
Carbed H-Ds have ICMs and a TSM doesn't need to get married, it's plugNplay.
BTW, glad it worked out for ya.

You can buy a pushbutton fob (PN 68926-00) on ebay etc and program it to your bike yourself.

I have a 2005 sporty with the tssm can I just unplug it and connect a tsm with out having to get or programmed or anything?

Mine is currently security system locked and I can't figure out how to unlock it the fob has a battery and it still does nothing. I just want the dam security system off the bike all ready.

Can I just replace the TSSM with a new TSM and it's good to go?
