i have a 99 sportster 1200 custom,, all of a sudden the left turn signals don't work.. front clearance works,, checked bulbs, both good, wiring all seems good, little light on dash to show turning good, took handle bar cover off and looks like switch is some electronic thing? do those go bad? any idea oh what else to check or test? also right signal works perfect. thanks

If there aren't pinched wires under the clutch lever perch it's possible the TSM is going bad. Also check the wires inside the rear fender, use a mirror and flashlight to get a good look.

First thing is losen the switch housing screws and see if they work. If they work, the problem is the wire is pinched and you need to arrange so you can tighten the housings and still have blinkers. That happened when I installed my apes on my bike.

found the problem,, it was a pinched wire on rear stem.. hard to track down but very easy to fix lol... and cheap lol.... thanks again guys... now i won't get stopped for no trun signal.
