Ok I have a 97 xlh and the back left turn signal does not work. the front two marker lights come on, the back right blinks, the back left does not. When I connect the wire from the left side to the right switch the left will come on. So the bolb and wire from the modual back are good. So what and how do I check the next item on the list?

Does the front left turn signal work?

Does the horn work?

Did you check the front bulb? It's a dual filament bulb.

Ok all bolbs are all good, I cut the wires to the left switch and wired them together and the rear left light still did not come on. Is there a way to jump around the modual or to check the modual?
thanks

I`m still having a hard time following you...

Please clarify:

It the only issue the rear signal light, or are both front and rear left signal lights not flashing.

Forget about the running lights, they are a different circuit.

And once again: Does the horn work?

Sorry, Ok 94 xlh, front running lights work, right side front and rear blink, left rear and front do not blink, I hooked the rear left wire to the right switch and it will blink. All bulbs are good and horn works.

Try this:

Unplug the connector from the turn signal canceller module.

Check the voltage on the white/violet wire in the connector when you press the left turn signal button.
