Hope someone here can help. I am using a Kuryakyn run-turn brake controller (the kind that flashes when I first put on the brake) and I want to use a powered trailer light circuit converter. I can't seem to get the wiring to work properly when I put on the brake. Anyone had this problem before (and solved it)

Probably not a lot of help, but I installed a kury trailer harness yesterday and one of the notes on the install sheet is......

Plug the new Sub Harness in BEFORE any other components on the bike. (i.e. run-turn-brake module).
So ensure the trailer harness is plugged into the the fender harness and the brake controller is plugged into the trailer harness ?

I used kury trailer harness 7672 on an '08 SG.

What viper said. I thonk the powered harness uses the output from the brake switches to kick a relay to illuminate the trailer lights, so the flashing of the brake module will not send a a solid signal to the trailer module.
