Vance & Hines Big Shots replacement

MY 09 Fat Bob currently has the staggered big shots on it. I was looking into going with a 2 into 1 and the Vance & Hines Big Radius catches my eye as far as the looks go. I am looking for a slightly quieter sound rather than the loud crackling of the big shots and would like to have a deeper tone to it. I have watched the videos on YouTube and listened to the sounds but lets face it the sound on a computer is nothing like real life. I even hit up our bike night here in AZ and didn't see one bike with the big radius to listen to it. Anyone have any suggestions? it is my daily rider, i don't take it to the strip, and i leave for work @ 0445.... So i am sure my neighbors love me starting my bike everyday! I have the Ness Big Sucker and a PC V on the bike currently.

I know a guy I ride with at times with the big radius pipes on a Softail. It is noticeably quieter than the V&H slip ons I have on my Superglide. They do sound good to me.

Just keep in mind one thing..... When I was looking into them they required removal of the rear foot rest on a Dyna.
I have Rush 2 into 1 with 2" baffle on my SB and love them. Sound and performance is great. Not to loud but really barks when you twist it.

I had the VH big radius on my fatboy, I feel they were very loud , crackling loud. I swapped them out for VH big shot staggered, not because of the sound, I actually liked the big radius , just went for a different look. I think the big shots have a loud but deeper sound, the radius had a loud cracking sound. If your looking for a quieter exhaust I don't think the big radius is what u want. Check out few dealers see if there are any bikes with that system and listen to them. JMO.

They do make an adapter kit to raise the pegs for the passenger. But that was also a concern for me and my well being! Ha! the wife has to be comfortable too.
I also found the Patriot Defender 2 into 1 which has a butterfly inside that can be closed to quiet it down. I am not sure about the craftsmanship of the product and it also appears that the rear cylinder exhaust tube goes right over the oil dip stick location.
I have the big radius 2-into1 on my softail breakout but similarly wanted to quiet it down. Picked up the coordinating SmartPartz baffle which dropped the DB tone down and gave it a really great low rumble.
Thank you everyone for the information! I have been looking at the dealers for bikes with 2 into 1 systems at the dealerships around the west side of Phoenix area and not had much luck (seems that everyone puts 2 into 2 on their bikes around here). I did locate a wide glide with a Rinehart 2 into 1 that i hopefully can get over and listen to that this week. Maybe i might even get off work at a decent time to check out bike night this week!
