I bought a 2009 Road King Classic from a private party last fall. It did not come with any information about the bike. So today I called HD, gave them the VIN# and in about two minutes they sent me this. It's not exactly specific to MY bike but I think it's good to have.

There were approximately 12,296 FLHRC Road King Classic models manufactured for the 2009 model year. Approximately 7,649 were built as "49-state" models and 711 were built to meet the emission standards of the state of California.

P.S. "180 lb operator weight"

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Tour Pack? Premium Sound System? Sounds like they sent info for a E.G. Classic. Nice that they responded so quickly to you.

I caught that too. Maybe an option? But that wouldn't be a RK then would it?
Hi from the UK,
on the subject of frame numbers I was offered a 98 Fat Boy today imported from the USA a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic machine only issue was the frame number which reads
4k7s81355wc004887. Has everyone I know puzzled as no one I've spoken to about it has come across a HD with a frame number in this format. Any ideas? Thanks.
