Warped rotors

So I've just found out that both my front rotors are warped. Thankfully their covered by my ESP.

My question is, would warped rotors cause a front end wobble?
I gets wobbly around 85 to 90.
I've taken it in before and the dealer said it was caused by improper inflation.

What do you fellas think?

If rotors are warped you should only feel it when braking, so dealer may be right.:dunno
It's been a continuous problem, even after the correct tire pressure.

I had some high speed wobble on my '07 softail and it was the rear wheel alignment was off a little. I used a pipe wrench to fix my warped front rotor (thanks Dave) : )

No...... My rotors are warped too. It only happens upon braking. I bought a new front wheel with rotors, I tried to polish them but I got impatient and just put them on. When I test rode if I had a horrible vibration when I braked.

When I'm not braking it's smooth as silk up to and past 100.... Except when I have a passenger my helmet get a huge thump every few hundred feet :what???:dunno

It is possible that due to an inflation issue, the tire has developed a wear pattern (cupping, feathering, chopped tread, etc.), and if that's the case, you could be feeling those effects, even when not braking. If that's the cause, you'll need to replace the tire to correct the problem.

Wheel balance problems can cause the same thing.

Thanks for the replies.
It's going to the shop this next week, and after they put on new rotors, I'll see whet else needs done.

Check steering neck bearings for wobble.
Mine will have an out of balance tire feel around 72 and fades at 85.I had my rotors changed and still have the out of balance feel.I can see some cupping down the center of the front tire.So I need to change front tire one of these days or go slower then 72.The floor boards shake and bars vibrate a little.
bought a new screaming eagle ultra in 2011 with fancy front rotors looked nice - within a few weeks the front rotors were warped bad to the point the front brake lever would bounce in my hand was driving me crazy not to mention could be a safety issue especially when wet. took it in they asked if I was towing - no and never had anyone on the back - they told me it was rider ware and tear and would not be covered under waranty and the fancy rotors were $250 each - they did highly recommend that I have them switched out because they were not safe in that condition - I told them to take back the bike and asked for the number to harley corp and highway safety dept - I sat in the corner for a half hour - they told me they would make an exception and replace the rotors free but only once - for the next year I was very carefull with front brake often only using back brake, down shifting like crazy - always thinking about it - at about 9k miles the rotors warped - I gave the bike away cheap. found out later this is a big prob with harley accross many models - not big enough rotors - more metal = they will take more heat and stay tru. I just bought a new '14 ultra limited - because harley has fixed the prob with bigger heavier rotors on this model - with integrated brakes I just use the front brake anytime as much as needed - with 6k miles on no prob just smooth braking
