It’s a cold , wet, lousy, miserable day and all I can do is stand at the window, fog up the glass and draw a sad face. Where in the hell is mid- July ???

It's times like these, you need a Dr. No phone booth!

Same here. Really sucks hard. I will settle for March, but July is better. Problem is, we are in a way wishing our lives away by wanting the months to pass. Another MF'n catch 22.
Yeah, I try not to wish it away. There are some winter projects to do, like get the leathers clean and treated, do some maintenance, then get the bike to the indy and have a couple things done.

Oh, yeah, and map out some road trips for this next season.
I'll trade you even for mine...minus seven...and scratching your initials on the glass is in frost...LOL.
Springs on the way...hope that gopher cooperates this year...LOL. stay warm.

I like your attitude!
Same here in Central Florida. 74 right now @ 5:32 pm
You all down in south Florida couldn't possibly have the same appreciation for decent riding weather as much as those poor Yankee's up North . So appropriately they probably enjoy they're motorcycles more than a Floridian . When spring finally gets here , and the days ARE getting longer already , we'll all rejoice together and hit the road once again !
Don't know about not appreciating riding weather here in Florida. Got over 40k a year between my bikes .
I certainly appreciate the great riding weather we have in SoCal. That's why I moved here! :ride
:fitz

I think if I ever get fully retired I'm moving to Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas. At least for the winter.

I've lived in Florida and California is too expensive.
its freakin fridgid here in ma. im really thinkin about Arizona in a couple years when my kids are old enough.doin a couple mods this winter but would much rather be riding:thumbsup
Sarah
You are a lucky girl.........got up to just over 35 here today but light freezing drizzle in the afternoon.....:mad
Colt.45
-22 with the windchill. could put on the snowmobile suit and take her for a spin, if the oil wasn't frozen
S. Florida and S California all sounds good ... IF YOUR THERE !!! Us here along the Texas Gulf coast, Are putting up with the rain and the yuck. Around here, if ya ride this time of year, it’s best to be home before the sun goes down cause the temp. goes down with it. It’s just a bummer when occupying my time is so much better spent on my Harley and on a country road.
Any way... This picture along Ranch road 152 is what we have got to look forward to in the spring.

I grew up in So Cal. Don't want to ride there though. Too many people, too much traffic and too many cops.
Sometimes I really like these cold ,rainy days...I got out in the shop clean , put the sat.radio on drink beer and Yager bombs stare at how good my bike looks do maintance on my bikes..clean guns, recount my ammo...just so much to do and enjoy out in the shop.... yesterday...mounted a scope on one of my Henrys...had plenty of smokes, beer and had no plans of going anywhere or doing anything else....great day...
Lakefork, I know where you are coming from, BUT... In January we usually have a few days that we can get out on the bikes for a couple of hours anyway. I can't remember off hand when I even had the bike out last. So this year SUCKS!!!!
eagle...we rode a couple weeks ago...real nice a little windy...but still great..they are talking nice for the coming weekend..plan on riding then...won't be long and we will start getting some good days....and before you know it will be balls sweating 105*...lol
