I did total rebuild of front end on 06 WG added 4 inch over tubes and fatty front 21 tire.. Bike nearly tips over when jiffy stand deployed. Would greatly appreciate input to solve problem. I ordered 1 inch over jiffy stand then will heat with torch adjusting two bends angle to compensate 1.5 inch hieght for tubes extension? Someone said the 1" extension won't help just kick footing out further. Jiffy stand sits good on 2X4 block which is 1.5 inches thick.

Looks good that way ! Those Dyna jiffy stands are kind of a bitch, not many different variations available. Also turning the forks full right when parked helps.

Before lighting the hot wrench, make sure the bends you intend to make with the new jiffy stand do not cause a problem with it in the up/riding position.

I have one of them off-road Sportys over in the corner of my garage that had this issue. I welded a stand under the kickstand. (see pics)

Nice Sporty. I have a 01' S1200 (has adjustable front forks, dual discs and adjustable rear shocks) plan to modify it a bit with new paint. What length rear shocks did you use? Plan on rebuilding front forks with progressive springs, polish up legs with boots. Any input on rebuilding adjustable front forks is appreciated. I rebuilt regular OEM successfully. I am going to make up add on to weld onto jiffy stand for now. Thanks for your suggestion.

Rear shocks are 15" Progressives. Fork tube sliders are 3" over with multistage Progressive springs and 9 1/2" damper tubes equipped with top out springs.
