Met a couple of other guys yesterday and we did a loop around The Palouse. 161+ miles. Through Turnbull WLR, stopped at Rock Lake, went up Steptoe Butte. Good day. Some smoke from the fires, but good.

Went on a HOG chapter lunch ride. 181 miles total. Hot than .......... by the time we got home.

rode to work. rode home.
rode to the HOG VIP Night at the local dealership. Ordered Legend suspension for the front and rear, a new Custom Dynamics Probeam head light, a new clutch reservoir cover, new front brake pads and my wife got both grand kids new HD outfits that are cute as hell. Can't wait for those parts! Coming up on the 50K service, hence the suspension change instead of rebuilding the OEM. looking forward to the improvements.

1st extended ride on 2018 Road Glide

Decided to ride up to Milwaukee for my first long ride this past Saturday and check out attractions at 115yr event spent a couple hrs checking things out and road back home. Definitely enjoying new Ride! About 770 miles.

Wednesday did a clutch adjustment. Today rode to a dealer, had an appointment to let them diagnose front end vibration. They're saying rear motor mount bad everything else good. While I was there I couldn't keep my eyes of this 18 Road King Special they have sitting by the front door. Their offer to me on paper $5k for my 04 Low Rider, $20k for the RK out the door. Thinking about half down and finance half at .99% if I get myself talked into it. He was pushing me to ride it but I held off. I have till 9/23 to get that rate unless someone buys it first.

You guys think that's a decent price?

I think that's an ok deal, but get them to add a couple of years extended warranty, some free PM, and whatever else you can get. They are pushing because of the new models coming in so space is an issue. Some of the guys here might have some points. Hoping you get the best deal you can!

dont forget the fact that you own a TRUE dyna, which is no longer being manufactured. they should give you more than premium trade-in for it. trust me....thats what theyll say to a prospective buyer after theyre in posession of it!

today i went to the garage and made sure the green light was still showing on the battery tender. tomorrow, if theres a lull in the rain showers, ill change the tender lead from one bike to the other.

Man, I am having a lot less traffic headaches now that football has started. I'm so glad most everyone here is a carbon copy stereotype. Traffic is down, by a completely unexaggerated honest guess, 75% because they're all at home watching football.

It's great.

Putting around today. A guy I went to high school with that now works in the parts dept. at my local Harley wants to go for a ride tomorrow down to PCB (Panama City Beach). I've never ridden with him before, we'll see how it goes. There's actually some great back-road routes to get there from here that are pretty fun. It's a good 200 mile or more round trip (depending on which route you take).
