I like that derby cover. I had it on my Heritage and when I traded it in, I moved to my son's FXBB. Matching timer cover too.

There's a lovely city in SE Spain called Murcia that I've visited. Any connection to that city & your Mercia there in England?
Sadly none whatsoever

I remembered my buddy Kenny had an anvil just sitting around and thought I'd try to buy it but he said he uses it sometimes and it was worth 500$ ,so just hung out and seen some old school chops. One guy bought a 20 over springer from him while I was there. I know it's been leaned against the wall for 6-8 years.

did an o solo mio ride to tulsa town today. a fine day mix of sun and clouds, 72 leaving this morning and 83 coming back. rode down to a new spot called monty's bbq and fried chicken. i had lemon pepper catfish, i think it was actually the cajun catfish, it was pretty hot but good. i saw someone who had the fried chicken and it looked really good too. also had fried corn and baked beans that were awesome. a new one added to out favorites for sure. lots on the bbq menue too ribs etc. 179 miles of smiles on a nice spring day. fury running crisp at high cruise of 80 mph. i went by to see ron an old friend who is house bound when i got back. my heart hurts for him. he is not enjoying life very much. i hope y'all had a good humpday. i had a really nice one here. rain for next two days but i have stuff to do and i had some good fun today. hasta.

That corn must have been good cause I don't see it in the pic!

It's been too long since I've had BBQ. I need to fix that, and me being in KC!

Good to see a chrome whore not put them stupid crotch protectors on covering up some of it. Am I the only one that puts wood blocks under each wheel when on a jack?

i agree the crotch coolers look dorky but they really do work. guess i'm not too concerned with looking cool any more. i wear swimming goggles when riding in the rain. :) i didn't install them on bikes they came with em. i'm leaving them on though.

Then you definitely not concerned with looking cool! But what's the saying, if it looks dumb but works, then it's not dumb!

Wood blocks? I put the bikes on the lift to either pull the wheels or, roll them. Blocks would kinda defeat the purpose

I do put a wooden block under the lift, just in case insurance.
