i agree the crotch coolers look dorky but they really do work. guess i'm not too concerned with looking cool any more. i wear swimming goggles when riding in the rain. :)
I feel sorry for the motor not only are you making it wear grandma's underwear you are affecting the motor cooling a little bit when not moving.

Then you definitely not concerned with looking cool! But what's the saying, if it looks dumb but works, then it's not dumb!
i like that right there. :)

I rode to work yesterday, 65 going in, 61 going home, but the dew fell, and air was thick. Torque cam and 1:1 throttle setting was making life in corners interesting as the back end was hanging out a lot. Guess bike thought I needed some adrenaline rushes!

I blew the pollen off of mine with a Brisk ride home. Had a crotch rocket behind me and when I jumped up to 95 (for a quick run,) he fell behind... She needed to be wrung out a bit...

Well, I had to order something from Amazon and they were giving me free shipping if I ordered X dollars more worth stuff, so I went ahead and threw this waterproof camera bag in my cart (along with a set of Torx+ bits) to make up the difference. The camera bag folds into it's own little pouch. Test fit it onto the "bar bag" and it's a little larger than needed, but it was one of the smaller bags. Cinch chord is elastic too, it tightens up enough to cover the bag, it'll work just fine, especially if I push the USB-C extension cable into the bag before putting it on.

Otherwise, nothing special.

Had a few friends ride from Houston to attend the Bandera Rally. They stopped by my cabin to catch up on life before going to rally. They are spending night at rally with a group so road in with them.

I'm the short, old ugly one in the middle.

Loaded up the MAP I got from Fuel Moto with the PowerVision.
Runs real snappy with the intake seals fixed. Did a short run to the dealer and filled up the tank for the next run.

Tried to do a speedometer calibration, but the instructions on their website didn't work for my bike.
They say to adjust the number in the VSS box, but that area is blank on my PV.

Had a great ride today with members on another forum that rode in from Houston to Bandera for the Rally. They asked if I would show them the Twisted Sisters. Sure, no problem. Then he said a few more of his friends from out of Dallas area wanted to join, then a couple more joined. We ended up with 9 bikes total. Most were not familiar with area at all and was impressed with ride.

Getting group together. Never played Road Caption for a larger group like this. Didn't lose anyone and no one wrecked, so good day for a group of riders that had never ridden together.
