New to the site so Hello. Now down to it I have a 92 heritage Softail and rims need to be replaced. Had opportunity to buy NEW rims still in box from a 2012 Road King. Question is what Will I have to do to make these rims work on my Softail ?

Dunno? But welcome from eden nc
Welcome from Ga. Don't know for sure, and if I ever say it can't be done, somebody will do it. But I believe the best thing would be to get a set that would fit your bike.

If it were me, I'd go this route. Might be costing a few bucks up front, but in the long haul, you'll probably save bucks.
BTW, welcome aboard from the Mississippi South Coast!
Im thinking the rear is going to be to wide for starters...
Bearing and axle sizes are different....
Spacers...
Not sure if hub patterns are the same for sprockets and rotors...

But with time and money anything is possible
