Does anyone know what black this is or type of paint makes this Crystalline look? I Think its a Flat black?! Not sure if it does that Salt Crystalline look as it dried or thats a final coat?? I believe its the Original paint on the side covers of Harley Z90 and Z90's?! Some one told me the covers were sand blasted but out of the 3 I stripped, none had sandblast texture... All Smooth.. Hopefully an easy to find Spray can??? ;)

It isn't wrinkle black. It's called 'Tuxedo Black'.

I have had several things powdercoated on my bike. This belt guard was chrome originally, powdercoated Tuxedo Black.

Hmm Tuxedo Black huh?! Is that only a powder coat? I dont think AMF originally powder coated them.. It stripped easy like paint.. I'm trying to get the bikes as close to Original as possible..

Did the originals have that much texture? I can’t tell looking at pics.
PJ1 fast black satin black might be an option...

I think they were pretty textured from the factory. But the 3 bikes I've dismantled had really worn faded or had already been repainted... So I'm not 100%.. I have seen a few pictures online that might suggest they did have this finish..

My guess is heat cured wrinkle black. Same thing the MoCo used on the engines.
The MoCo got away from wrinkle because it's to hard to clean, especially between cylinder fins.
