I bought some extended saddlebags for my electraglide. The sides of them have a bit of a wave to them. I want to level them out real good before I prime and paint them. What type of filler should I get? Will regular bondo filler from the auto parts store work, or do I need something special since the bags are made out of plastic?

Common guys, there's got to be someone who knows what type of filler that can be used on these plastic saddle bags.

Anyone ever have to fix high/low spots on the sides of hard bags? If so, what did you use?

You might be better of trying to use heating and cooling to "pop out" the low spots .

New ABS bags should not have any low spots in them, bad molding causes that .

hi, you should try to find automotive bumper filler, since they are made of plastic ask any body shop they will tell you whats best.

it has to be the flexible type!.
