GREAT NEWS!!!

I was cleared to be listed for transplant, next step is submitting to ins/finance for approval. If that goes I will get a place on the list.

Moving forward and I’m gaining little by little on this fight of my life!

Setback….

As I type this portion, I’m still in hospital. Still trying to figure out the low BP. It crashes when I get up and goes lower as I continue to walk or move.

9/11 In ER…
Apparently I passed out and subsequently blacked out twice.
Banged head/neck/left side of face, cut open left forearm and a the very least bruised it badly.

Thank God Liana Leclerc boyfriend was there and witnessed it.

Thank you Trace Hodges appreciate you taking care of me.

I’ll update as I know more.

9/11 UPDATE 7 PM

Definitely staying the night BP on arrival was 78/44
Sodium is low for one. Apparently they need to slowly raise level.
All X-ray and CT’s show no breaks or fractures.
We shall see what else comes back.


9/13
Still here…
BP is still low and really crashes when I stand or move.

Freaking pounding headache since fall. I’ve asked every opportunity for some sort of pain med just to knock it back some. I can deal with all the other lumps and bruises from the fall. But this headache has to go!

Another night here, updates as needed.

Any news Garth, how are you doing?

Got out late last Friday.

Still have some residual pain and headaches.

Yesterday was the ole double ender. Colo was giving doc some trouble, but he said it was good for transplant and see you next year.

The Endo he put a few bands on varices, and said see you in a month. Lots of throat pain today.

Was supposed to do labs yesterday after procedure but they were 3.5 hrs behind. Lab closed!

I’m pretty pissed about this as this was the set of labs they were submitting with paperwork to be “officially” on the list.

So I await the call on what’s next. Even though they have a lab within 10 miles of my home, I have a feeling they are going to tell me I need to visit the one 1 hr away.

Garth update:
we havent been posting on social media. This poor guy is having 1 setback after another. Had his 3rd surgery past friday they said some vessels were getting clogged and twisted had to reposition the new liver. They thought they had it all fixed. Yesterday they went to fully close him up and tell me the liver is under alot of stress now everything is day by day. They left him with breathing tube and sedated. 2 weeks ago the transplant dr told me he wouldnt let him suffer if this new liver was rejecting and put him on the list again. Well im not sure if that’s where we are headed. We are all hoping and praying that he’ll be better SOON
Tomorrow’s his birthday so wishing for good news.
