Went on a nice 300 mile ride today, and of course the rock going 60mph hit my windshield and put a couple of nice chips in it. Just cosmetic, but I'd like to make them invisible if I can. Is there any resin I can put into the chips to make them less noticeable?

If they aren't deep you can use a headlight restore kit to buff them out, just remember with lexan the slower, the better. We use the 3m brand one with good success.

If they are deep I dunno.

Yeah its pretty deep buffing won't do it. I guess I'll just called battle scars....

I've read on scuba forums that they use the Permatex windshield repair kit to repair scuba masks which are also made of lexan....

Do they have Safelight out by you? We have them. They repair windshields with chips and cracks in them. "Safelight repairs Safelight replaces" (advertisement jingle)

I was thinking of going to an auto place but they don't deal with lexan. I'll try the Permatex route
