Winter builds, this is mine: 2010 FLTRX with 68k. Yeah it’s time for a top end. I decided to use all SE becauseI wanted to see if it’s good or just hype. I’ve read a lot of the good and bad reviews, experiences, and everyone all up in their feels about it. Perhaps I’m just a glutton for punishment with some dabloons to spend, but I gotta know for myself to be honest about it. Got my first shipment of parts and on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being outstanding I’d have to say that what I got so far is about a 6.5. Cam plate is nice billet piece but the pump, which is physically bigger then stock, is el cheapo cast unit, not impressed. New SE cam bearings look ok, kinda whish I had gotten Timken units. Lifters are marked SE on the roller shaft, no where else, not fancy SE markings. Waiting for my 96 to 103 kit and “flowed” SE heads. Maybe it will all be Harley-Davidson nirvana, or it will be a rebuild money pit. Still, wanted to see for myself and give the MoCo a shot. Updates and bike porn to follow. Thoughts?

I went Fuelmoto with my 2010 RGC. My belief is you can't build a fast Harley using Harley parts.had 75k on it when I built it.107k on my bike now, outperforms M8s . Problems with SE lifters is one reason I went aftermarket.

Good to know. I may spice out some s&s lifters and compare. Thanks for the heads up.
