hmmmm

I have been under the impression that I should be very glad I have an '05 because there is no catalytic converter, and EPA regulations also don't apply to my bike because it is grandfathered. Suposedly later models have more restrictions which compromise performance. Maybe its all BS. I don't know, but from the article, the new ones sound good.

This is why I won't test ride a new Road King. I would not want to part with my '04. There are just too many nice bikes out there.

Reefteach, Allikanbe... certainly good thoughts and I would certainly not sell or trade your bikes. While I did, it came from a need to have "fewer horses in the barn." Seriously. Nothing at all against the soulful '02 and '04 big twins sold. At least, I can now note how tremendous the RK bike is :). And at least when the year arrives, if ever, to part with one's own precious big twin, Milwaukee will have something to ease the pain.
