Electrics gone dead on XL883C. Battery fully charged. Main fuse okay.
With key turned to Ignition = dead.
With key turned to ACC. = dead.
With key turned to Off or key taken out = speedometer needle pulses with electrical buzzing sound.
The only way I can stop it pulsing is to take the main fuse out/disconnect battery.
Any ideas please? I'm thinking ignition switch?

Possible water infusion into the main wire harness that leads into the back of the fuse block. The IAC motor continues to function because the main relay is energized. Clean out the fuse block, air pressure or similar, then coat the fuses and relays with dielectric grease.

Is there power at the main fuse?

With key turned to Ignition = dead.
You need to get out your voltmeter and read voltage at the fuse locations, there should be system voltage at the Instruments, Ignition, Lights, P&A fuses (with switch in the ignition position).

With key turned to ACC. = dead.
When switch is in acc position, there should be system voltage at the Accessories fuse.
