XM Radio

I have a 2015 TG and pulled the outer fairing yesterday and boy did I see a huge change. I had a 07 Ultra Classic, which in my mind was pretty simple to work on and add the odds and ends. What my plan was yesterday to add my XM radio receiver on the trike so I could listen to XM. In looking at the back of the info system I identified the AM/FM antenna but couldn't get it to come off the back of the info system. Didn't push the issue, as I didn't want to break something. Has anyone installed one on their trike?

Nope. But when you get it figured out keys us all know. I for a 14 TG and want to do the same thing. Best of luck. I will be anxiously awaiting your results and recommendations.

I put one on my 2014 Limited. I would bet its the same as yours. If you are trying to install the XM radio from your 07, I don't think its going to work. The new radio (for 2014 up) is completely different. It is basically a circuit board with a connector on the board that mounts inside the system. It is much easier than the older xm radio to install with nothing extra to buy like cables. But beware if you buy one. Instructions say to remove a cover over the connector and mine didn't have one. I almost destroyed the connector trying to do this.

Bad news is you will have to buy a new xm radio for your 2015. Good news its $100 cheaper than the old one. Yeah, I know. Some consolation.
