2025 Low Rider ST - excessive vibration??

There is a noticeable increase in vibration when I reach 3100 rpms in any gear. I can feel it in my feet. As soon as you drop below 3100 it immediately feels better and more normal.

I do have crossthread MX pegs, but these are the same pegs I had on '20 lrs and '22 lrst with no issues. Husband also has on his dyna lrs with no problems. Lock tite was used at install and yet on Friday I almost lost my peg while riding. The bolt had backed out and was barely there and the peg had turned upside down while my feet were up.

Stock cam, breather, tune. Did just put a 2-1 exhaust on but it was doing that prior to install. I've added vibration dampeners to both sides of handlebar as well as thicker air cushioned grips to make that more tolerable. My left mirror step also keeps flopping toward me, never had this happen before.

Anyone else experience this much vibration above 3100 rpms? Thoughts?

I'd be inspecting motor mounts for tears / cracks / sagging and torque.

This vibration only happens when rolling? Inspect the drive belt and pulleys.

Does the motor make a heavy rattling sound when starting or shutting down? If so, pop off that primary cover and look for loose or worn compensator. Well, lose maybe. I doubt there's any noticeable wear on a new bike! But the comp nut could be loose.

Smart! know the possibilities first. nto with my bike, but on my vehicles, i've had the dealership mis-diagnose things where i already knew what the source of the problem was due to online research. i just had my car stereo replaced with an aftermarket and installer swore the issues that just popped up had nothing to do with the new radio. three days later they solved the issue, and ti was from the radio not communicating properly with the car. they solved it now but they wanted to blame the vehicle and me for the issue. so know everything you can beforehand is a great policy.

and fi the dealership gives you a hassle, goover the heads, here's a website to the emails of CEO and corporate people.

just do search for harley adn all the name com up. great tool to use.

i had an issue the first time i ever stayed at a hilton property 3 years ago and when i called the manager i got no where. i found this website and emailed the CEO of hilton detailing all the issues i had with my stay (a ton, the faucet handle actually fell off and there was only hot or cold water in the shower, no in between) and the very next day his executive assistant called me on the phone and went over every single issue with me and ended up refunding most of my points i used to pay.

so if dealership gives you grief, just tell them you have the CEO's info and you'll just call them directly as last thing they want is a report to corporate about CS issues.

I had the same vibration problem with my 2024 Low Rider ST. Dealer said that's the way they run because of the 117 CI motor. I didn't buy that so I test drove another 2024 Low Rider ST and the vibration was not anywhere and bad as my bike. There was mention of motor mounts. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the impression that the Low Ride ST is a softail and the motor mounts are rigid. If you don't get any satisfaction at the dealer, aske them to let you drive another ST for comparison. I finally Traded mine in for a Street Glide, same engine but smooth as silk.

Yes sir, the Softail does have solid motor mounts. That said, the hardware can still be loose. And the mounts can and do crack. Or the welds break. As was the case with my 1980 FXE 80 with solid mounts. Chit happens! And hardware gets loose and / or never torqued in the first place.
