Anyone have experience with the Yelvington reverse gear?

A current motorcycle magazine has an article about it, do not remember which mag I read in a waiting room. It costs about two grand and they are installing them now at Strugis.

Runs from the main pulley drive, no trans mods, sounds interesting.

I have and use a reverse made by Baker!
Works just like a forward gear.
Motor driven, clutch operated, and you could even do a burnout in reverse..if you choose to do that! Lol

And there made in the good ole U.S.A.! Right here in Michigan!:grin

the magazine was AMERICAN IRON if memory serves (sometimes it does)

Yelvington does trikes, and this will work on the 103 inch Touring series of HD.

The article describes and pictures the installation, with a note the final production version may differ slightly.

In the same magazine, an advertisement for free installation at Sturgis this year, limited number available.

Reverse gear burnouts do not interest me. Two thousand dollar OEM reverse gear interests me but not in a way that will get my money.

Now when The Company has a reverse gear option for the big two wheelers, eh--maybe. It would shut up the Gold Wing riders.

HD 4 speed transmissions can be had either with 4 forward gears or 3 forward, 1 reverse.
