Picked this up at Sears for $23.99. It comes with the battery tender connection wired directly into the unit AND the BT adapter that mounts directly onto the bike's battery. So if you don't have the BT lead on your bike, for $23.99 you get the BT lead and a Sears Die Hard fully automatic 2 amp/ 4 amp charger.

My dealer charges $35 for the BT lead when you buy a bike there (they automatically add it on) and the BT unit at the dealer was also $65.

Had the bike connected to it for 3 days now. Went into charge mode for the first hour or so I connected it and been in monitor (float mode) mode since.

Ya that dosen't sound right. Think I paid 35 for every thing.

You'all made me go check my sales slip from when I picked up the bike. I stand corrected! THe lead was a $35 add on, NOT $65 as I put in earlier post. Sorry for the screw up (sorry to my local dealer also! Glad I didn't mention their name).

So maybe the Sears job isn't such a great deal after all? :new:ducking

If you want to trust a $135 battery to a non-Deltran (translated : $29.99) Battery Tender, then go ahead. It's your battery.....

yeah. i have not seen BT that high of price either. but i change to the genius brand this year. it was what my dealer said the the newest and best. let you know how it goes. seems cool. there website is Genius Battery Chargers | Wicked Smart Chargers
The Sears auto tender worked fine through the winter. I alternated it between mine and my brothers Dyna every week. Both bikes started right up, nice and quick turnover, no issues.
